The
grueling four month wait for the exterior paint job, is over. Mike Payne
and the crew at the Port Townsend Aero Museum did a fantastic job, spraying the
PPG base/clear coat scheme. We are now well into final assembly and will
be doing first engine start soon. In retrospect, it has been 26 months of
building, and I am pleased to be thinking of months, instead of years, to
completion. Overall, the project has been a fabulous learning experience
and I look forward to flight testing and Phase 1.
