Thanks to Tom Brown and Steve Myron for hosting the Christmas party in their hangar. It was a great time for the group that attended!

Dec 20th TeenFlight flew their first RV12. They have about 10 hours on it thus far. TF3 is well underway and targeting completion later this year. If any of you are interested in helping out they could use more mentors.

North West Aviation Conference, February 20th, 21st. Setup is Friday afternoon and we are looking for people to help. Teardown is after the show at 4pm on Sunday. If you have a project you would like to show in the booth contact Ken Finney.

AOPA flyin will be happening this year August 20th in Bremerton

Project updates

Bruce Finney recently installed the NAVworks ADSB IN/OUT box in his Thorp and got it all working. If anyone is interested in it drop him a note for more details.

Steve Myron, and Tom have a new Foreflight and Stratus setup in their 206. They are getting good coverage of traffic data now. They have had good luck using cell phone data for weather data on the same system.

Flying Washington’s Back Country - Daryl Hickman

Daryl gave a great presentation about a number of our State run airports. These are "back country" airports, that really don't require too much airplane to use.
