Air Academy Summer Camper - Max Welliver

Thank you to EAA Chapter 326 for supporting my week at EAA Air Academy Summer Camp in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, through the chapter's Young Eagles flight credits.   It was the best week of my summer and I met other kids from all over the world also interested in aviation!   We worked on airplane, rocketry and ground school projects throughout the week and the best part was flying in a Cessna 162 Skycatcher and a Bell 47 helicopter.  I'll be presenting a short report at the September meeting with more details.   Thank you again!  I learned so much and know the aviation industry is where I want to work!  -- from Max Welliver, age 14 - 8th Grade
