Teen flight, Airplane number 1 is now flying and is starting to train kids to fly!
20+ kids are building their 3rd RV12 this year. Thanks to the chapter mentors that have been helping the kids learn to build and get involved in aviation. Sunday and Monday nights from 5-7:30pm

Aviation Trade Show Feb 20th & 21st at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. We need more people to help out with the chapter booth. We are also looking for a build project to bring out to the show. Setup on Friday the 19th at the Orange gate.

Project Updates
  • Randy & Kerry started another project. A Murphy Moose!
  • Randy Albritton is ready to start his RV7. It’s basically done and ready to fly.
  • Mark Owens is finishing his wiring on his Glasair. 7 years down, 1 to go!
  • Darrin Dexheimer has restarted work on his RV9A. 13 years down, XXX to go.
  • Dave Thomas ViperJet, tested the pitot & static system and last little details. Ready for airworthiness inspection and then first flight.
  • Andy - Working on a Kitfox. 25 years down, XXX to go.

Young Eagles. June 25th is the day.
This year there is a new requirement for pilots to do some online training and complete a background check. You must do this ahead of time before the event to participate. If you have any questions contact Darin Dexheimer.


Tom Worth passed away January 16th, 2016. He was a long time member and friend of the chapter. He flew T-18’s for years.
