Reminder - AOPA is hosting a Fly-In
August 19-20 at Bremerton National Airport (KPWT) and they need volunteers.
Teen Flight's TF1 aircraft may be on static display for the event too.
Eagle Flights - I received my Eagle Flight's packet in the
mail a couple weeks ago. They provide some nice materials for your
"Eagle" to take home, a nice patch for your jacket, the registration
forms, etc. It looks fairly well put together.
Young Eagles - During the February meeting we talked about
the new Pilot requirements (background check and "Youth
Protection Policy" training. The training is online and only
takes 15 minutes to complete. It's mostly common sense stuff so it
shouldn't be a challenge for anyone in the group. You'll need your EAA
login (or create one on the site first). You must complete the training by June
10th to be eligible to fly for the YE Event later in the month. "Do it for
the kids" ;-) If you have questions or concerns please e-mail me.
